Vor allem f\u00fcr junge Leute war die DDR-Jeans jedoch ein unattraktives Imitat. Westkontakte boten die Hoffnung auf schicke Kleidung aus Westpaketen oder den Intershop mit Westgeld. Als Antwort auf diese Sehnsucht nach dem Westen entwickelte das Einzelhandelsunternehmen Exquisit hochmodische, aber auch hochpreisige Kollektionen.<\/p><p>Leider blieben diese f\u00fcr die meisten Menschen unerschwinglich. Aber die Eigeninitiative bl\u00fchte - viele entwarfen und n\u00e4hten ihre eigene Kleidung. In Geisa, das eine lange Faschingstradition hat, werden auch heute noch kreative Kost\u00fcme f\u00fcr den Kost\u00fcmball und den Rosenmontagsumzug angefertigt. Wer nicht selbst n\u00e4hen konnte, fand Hilfe bei geschickten M\u00fcttern oder Gro\u00dfm\u00fcttern.<\/p><p>\"Es wurde viel gelacht. Der Abend war \u00e4u\u00dferst interessant und h\u00e4tte in der anschlie\u00dfenden Diskussion noch stundenlang weitergehen k\u00f6nnen\", schreibt die Anneliese-Deschauer-Galerie, die ihre R\u00e4umlichkeiten f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt hat.<\/p><p>The event was organized by the Geisa Point Alpha Research Institute PARI in cooperation with the F\u00f6rderverein Kunst, Kultur und Wissenschaft Geisa e.
