Dezember 2022, begann die Veranstaltung mit der Ankunft der Stipendiaten, Postdocs und Doktoranden im Haus auf der Grenze in Geisa. Nach einer F\u00fchrung durch das Point-Alpha-Gel\u00e4nde und die Gedenkst\u00e4tte fuhren die Teilnehmer zum Schloss Geisa. Dort fand ein Workshop statt, der von Tobias Becker und Vivian Seidel moderiert wurde. Der Workshop beinhaltete eine Begr\u00fc\u00dfung und Vorstellung des Point Alpha Research Institute (PARI) sowie einen gemeinsamen Austausch unter den Teilnehmern.<\/p><h6>Projektpr\u00e4sentationen von PARI-Fellows<\/h6><p>Nach der Ankunft der anderen Workshop-Teilnehmer und dem Einchecken im Schloss Geisa gab es ein gemeinsames Abendessen. Claudia Wiesner und Philipp Gassert er\u00f6ffneten dann den Abend mit einer Begr\u00fc\u00dfung und Einf\u00fchrung. Anschlie\u00dfend stellten die PARI-Stipendiaten ihre Projekte vor. Zhylien Kaja von der Hochschule Fulda stellte das Verh\u00e4ltnis zwischen den Westbalkanl\u00e4ndern und der EU vor. Stefanie Eisenhuth aus Potsdam sprach \u00fcber \"Sch\u00f6nheit f\u00fcr alle!\" - Sch\u00f6nheitsarbeit und Distinktion im Staats- und Post-Sozialismus von 1945 bis 1995. Birgit Hofmann aus Heidelberg analysierte die Denkfiguren des Ost-West-Konflikts in den au\u00dfenpolitischen Debatten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland seit 1989\/1990, und Andrew Tompkins aus Erfurt stellte \"Bordering Germany(s): Everyday Life in Cold War Border Environments\".<\/p><h6>Was ist Interdisziplinarit\u00e4t?<\/h6><p>Am Freitag, den 2. Dezember 2022, wurde die Veranstaltung mit einer Sitzung zu den PARI-Forschungsschwerpunkten er\u00f6ffnet. Christiane Kuller hielt einen Er\u00f6ffnungsvortrag zum Thema \"Was ist Interdisziplinarit\u00e4t?\". Anschlie\u00dfend arbeiteten die Teilnehmer in Kleingruppen zu verschiedenen Schwerpunktthemen: \"Kalter Krieg und seine Bedeutung f\u00fcr die Gegenwart\", moderiert von Philipp Gassert, \"Grenzen\/Grenzen\", geleitet von Christiane Kuller, und \"Demokratie in der globalen Ordnung\", betreut von Claudia Wiesner.<\/p><p>Die Ergebnisse der Gruppenarbeit wurden in der Plenarsitzung vorgestellt und diskutiert. Es wurden Fragen zur weiteren Forschungsagenda und zu den Verbindungen zu den Projekten der Stipendiaten, Doktoranden und Professoren er\u00f6rtert.<\/p><h6>Praxisorientierter Workshop<\/h6><p>Am Nachmittag wurde in einem \"Praxis-Workshop\" diskutiert, wie die inhaltlichen Ideen und thematischen Schwerpunkte innerhalb von PARI umgesetzt werden k\u00f6nnen. Themen wie gemeinsame Formate, Antr\u00e4ge, Drittmittelplanung und Kooperationsprojekte wurden diskutiert. Die Teilnehmer entwickelten Projekt-, Zeit- und Formatpl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr das Jahr 2023. Nach einer kurzen Kaffeepause wurde diese Sitzung fortgesetzt.<\/p><p>Die Veranstaltung bot den Teilnehmern umfangreiche M\u00f6glichkeiten zum Gedankenaustausch und zur Entwicklung neuer Forschungsans\u00e4tze und -projekte, die sich nachhaltig auf die Arbeit des Point Alpha Research Institute auswirken
